I am very diligent in packaging my paintings carefully to minimize the chances of damage during shipping. They are wrapped in plastic and sandwiched between two pieces of foam, then wrapped in cardboard and taped. This increases the weight, making shipping slightly more expensive, but it provides the added protection needed to keep your purchase safe.
